About Me
Hi BLOGGERS!!!
My name is Vimalah D/O Ramalingam. Welcome to my biology blog. I hope my blog would be useful in enhance your knowledge in biology and benefit you from time to time. By the way, I am a teacher in a government school in Ipoh, Malaysia. I graduated from University of Malaya in the field of BioChemistry in year 2003. I have previously worked as Biochemist at private hospital before opted to field of education. I started teaching as temporary teacher in the 2008 and moved on to teach in current working place. Since then I have grown a lot as an educator. Right now i am pursuing my Master's Degree at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjung Malim to upgrade my abilities as an educator because it is related to my subject that i am teaching now and my deepest passion for the subject.
The blog is to fulfill the requirement ICT paper SBP 6024 before the end the masters programme. In my opinion, Biology education is an essential element to students because it will help them to value and appreciate the greatness of Creater by exploring into the world of bio formation on individual cell and other secrets of creation. Revealing such secret of creation will also create next generation of knowlegable society handling various problems affecting human being. However the greatest challenges in Biology education is to create passion among students to enjoy learning biology at all level of education. I wish my work in this blog would simply the learning process and help you to understand the subject easily. Through this blog I will share information about the subject in details by providing various journals, slides and reading materials. I will also provide two way communication learning environments where I will help to enlighten your doubts on the subject matter through interactive learning from time to time .
To conclude, I wish the blog will create new paradigm to enhance and my ICT Endeavour in teaching Biology. At the same time I wish it will benefit student in Malaysia and all over the world who are learning the subject in their colleges. This Blog has also inspired me to become an ICT-based teacher and become a role model in my school in exploring ICT based teaching.
